Sessions provided by Ibiza's own licensed practice in Dubai
Version 2.1 · 3 October 2026
Sessions are provided by Ibiza Bolonini Health Awareness Services, a sole establishment licensed by the Department of Economy and Tourism, Dubai, trade licence number 1205550, activity 851915 (Health Awareness Services), owned by Ibiza Mara do Carmo Barros Bolonini (the “Practice”).
Materna L.L.C-FZ, trading as Materna by Ibiza (trade licence 2652540.01, Meydan Free Zone, Dubai) lists the sessions and provides the booking link. Materna does not provide the sessions and is not a party to your agreement with the Practice.
These 1:1 Session Terms (“Session Terms”) govern the booking and delivery of paid one-to-one sessions provided by the Practice. By booking a session you (the “Client”) enter into an agreement with the Practice on these terms.
They are separate from, and additional to, the Materna platform Terms of Service, which continue to apply to your use of the platform.
Sessions are delivered by Ibiza Bolonini, a Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula, Lactation Educator and Certified Hypnobirthing Teacher, through the Practice.
A session is supportive and educational. It may cover birth preparation and planning, hypnobirthing and relaxation techniques, infant-feeding education and encouragement, comfort measures, and non-clinical emotional support during pregnancy and the early postnatal period.
A session is not medical care and does not create any clinical, doctor-patient or therapeutic relationship. A doula and lactation educator provides non-clinical support and education. During a session the session provider will not, and cannot:
You should continue to attend all appointments with, and follow the advice of, your own healthcare providers. Any decision about your care or your baby's care remains yours, made with your medical team.
Sessions are booked through the scheduling link provided on the Materna platform. The fee, session length and format are shown at the time of booking.
Payment is taken at the time of booking, by the Practice through its own payment provider. Materna does not receive your payment and does not store your card details. Fees may differ for Materna subscribers and non-subscribers, as displayed at the time of booking.
All fees are stated inclusive of any applicable taxes.
Refunds are made by the Practice.
Please join on time; late arrival may shorten the session, which cannot be extended or refunded on that basis. Sessions are private. Neither party may record a session without the other's prior consent. Any materials, notes or resources shared during a session are provided for your personal use only and remain the intellectual property of the Practice or of Materna, as applicable.
The session provider will treat the information you share during a session as confidential and will use it only to provide the service, except where disclosure is required by law, or where there is a genuine concern for the safety of you, your baby or another person, in which case appropriate steps (including contacting emergency or safeguarding services) may be taken.
Information you share during a session is not routinely shared with Materna, except where necessary to address a booking or service issue, comply with law, or respond to a safeguarding or safety concern.
A session is not an emergency or urgent-care service and is not monitored outside scheduled session times. If you have an urgent medical concern, contact your own healthcare provider or maternity unit. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, stop and contact emergency services immediately — UAE: 999 · Brazil: SAMU 192 · elsewhere: your local emergency number — and seek in-person medical care.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Practice's total liability to you arising out of or in connection with a session shall not exceed the fee paid for that session.
Materna's role is limited to listing the sessions and providing the booking link. Materna is not liable for the delivery or content of a session.
Neither the Practice nor Materna is liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any health outcome arising from decisions you make, which remain your own. Nothing in these Session Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Nothing removes any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
The information you provide when booking — your name, email address and appointment time — is collected by Materna and handled in accordance with the Materna Privacy Policy. It is passed to the Practice solely so that your session can take place.
Any notes the session provider keeps are held by the Practice, which is separately responsible for them as an independent controller under applicable UAE data protection law. Those notes are kept only for continuity of support, are not held on the Materna platform and are not routinely shared with Materna.
Please do not send medical reports, test results or scans to the Practice or upload them to the Materna platform. Those records belong with your own healthcare team.
These Session Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence.
